Grievance Redressal and Dispute Settlement Mechanism
If any client has any complaints or grievances regarding our services, they can write to contact@eastgreen.in
If the client’s issue is unresolved after a period of 30 days from the date of first raising the issue through email, or the client is not satisfied with the response provided, the client may, on expiry of 30 days from the date of first raising the issue, write to the Compliance Officer. Contact information for the same is mentioned above in Section 14(i) of Disclosure Document.
If the complaint is not resolved by the compliance officer in the next 30 days, or if the client is not satisfied with our grievance redressal, the client may approach SEBI to file a complaint on www.scores.gov.in.
The complaint can be lodged in “Complaint Registration” under “Investor Corner”.
In case, the client is not able to register a complaint online, he/she may send their complaints to the Office of Investor Assistance and Education, Securities and Exchange Board of India, SEBI Bhavan. Plot No. C4-A, ‘G’ Block, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Bandra (E), Mumbai 400 051.
All disputes, differences, claims and questions whatsoever arising between the Client and the Portfolio Manager and/or their respective representatives shall be settled in accordance with the provision of The Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 in the manner that is stated in the PMS Agreement with the Client. Such arbitration proceedings shall be held at Bengaluru or such other place as the Portfolio Manager thinks fit.
The officer mentioned above will ensure that the Client’s grievances are sorted out promptly. The Portfolio Manager will ensure that this official is vested with necessary authority, and the means to handle Client complaints.
ODR Portal could be accessed, if unsatisfied with the response. Your attention is drawn to the SEBI circular no. SEBI/HO/OIAE/OIAE_IAD-1/P/CIR/2023/131 dated July 31, 2023, on “Online Resolution of Disputes in the Indian Securities Market”. A common Online Dispute Resolution Portal (“ODR Portal”) which harnesses conciliation and online arbitration for resolution of disputes arising in the Indian Securities Market has been established.
